A board sock is a must to protect your board from sun and heat, e.g. when transporting it on the roof of your car.<\/p>\n
The integrated Gore-Tex\u00ae valve in our hard boards allows the boards to breathe, but especially dark carbon fiber boards can become extremely hot. It only takes a few minutes in direct sunlight for the surface to become burning hot, so it is important to protect your board from overheating.<\/p>\n
Our pyjamas style board sock is made in stretch terry cloth – elastic, yet thick and insulating against heat. The nose is reinforced in strong nylon fabric to withstand splattering insects when transporting the board on roof racks. The opening of the board sock is tightened with a drawstring and the string is neatly tucked into a small pocket on the inside of the board sock.<\/p>\n
